Sam Turton and Friends

Guelph singer-songwriter and community activist Sam Turton will be taking over the Cooperators Hall for a special show on Friday November 16 2012 at 8.00 p.m. Featuring Sam’s trade-mark swampy blues/gospel style songs, special guests and an opportunity to sing along; it promises to be a great night.

Soul-stirring slide guitar and heartfelt lyrics are the trademarks of Guelph musician Sam Turton’s original songs. Infused with influences from delta blues and southern gospel, his music is a vehicle for both personal expression and community activism.

“The honesty and integrity of the man comes out with every soulful note he sings.” Andrew Craig, CBC Radio 2
