Peter Willie Youngtree – The Interview

Peter Willie Youngtree is a St John’s based singer-songwriter with a troubadour slant and a love of old time country and Americana. He’s just released his debut album “Country Hymns” and is currently on tour in Ontario, with a show at The Cornerstone in Guelph on Saturday October 17 2015. We caught up with Peter Willie in Toronto to talk about the new album. Host of Folk Roots Radio, Jan Hall started in Radio in 1993 at WEFT 90.1fm in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Folk Roots Radio (formerly Royal City Rag) debuted on CFRU 93.3fm in August 2005 before developing into a syndicated radio show. As the host of Folk Roots Radio, Jan focuses on bringing new folk, roots and blues music and the voices of upcoming and independent artists to the airwaves.
