Hannah Georgas and Doug Paisley

Hannah Georgas and Doug Paisley will be in Guelph on February 2 2103 for a show in St George’s Church (Sanctuary) as part of Hillside Inside.

One of a handful of great Canadian female singer/songwriters, Hannah Georgas embraces incongruities, writing songs with force, propulsive rhythms, and soaring vocals and others that are playful, laid-back, and refreshingly peculiar. She is always original and honest, entertaining and moving, yet also spirited and inspiring.

Joining her in this gorgeous church setting is singer/songwriter Doug Paisley, a critically-acclaimed performer whose most recent album, Constant Companion, has been called “a quiet wonder.” Doug Paisley is known for his brave and disquieting lyrics and his beautiful melodies.  As The New Yorker has said… “he’s not afraid to set easy sounds against hard truths.”
