Interview

Mattie Leon released his well-received debut “Terrace” in 2015, followed by a couple of small releases in 2016. His very well-received seven song collection “Signal Hill” from 2017 really elevated his profile, and earned Mattie a nomination for New/Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2018 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Mattie Leon joined us in the Folk Roots Radio studio with support from Mike Leon and Nelson Sobral on backing vocals.
