“How Things Are” is Andy White’s most intimate album to date containing a beautiful and honest collection of songs, straight from the heart. Never afraid to write about a difficult situation, “How Things Are” came about after Andy’s 15 year long marriage ended, in order to answer the question ‘How are things?’ Whilst detailing his heartbreak in his writing, Andy’s optimistic and appreciative outlook on life has managed to create an empowering and uplifting album, full of promise.
Peter Boyer’s Same Latitude as Rome released their 5th CD of original music “Early Days” earlier this year. “Early Days” continues the theme of Canadian history in song, and follows up the success of the bands previous CD “1812”. Joining Peter Boyer on stage at The Busholme will be acclaimed multi-instrumentalist JK Gulley and bassist Tyler Wagler. They’ll be telling stories of explorers, hangings, murders, terrorist assassinations and massacres, poignantly told in songs representing the great oral traditions of acoustic folk music. Canadian history never sounded so good!
