Jennis – In The Studio

Jennis are a fabulous bluesy roots duo featuring Guelph-based bluesman Dennis Gaumond alongside veteran Toronto indie-scene multi-instrumentalist Jen Gillmor. Their unique blend of dobro and cello is augmented by didgeridoo, custom-tuned harmonicas, flute, wah-guitar, jaw harp and wazinator. Jennis released their debut album “The Current” in June 2014. Jennis will be appearing at Silence in Guelph with Hamilton singer-songwriter Sarah Beatty on Friday May 29. Buy tickets HERE. Host of Folk Roots Radio, Jan Hall started in Radio in 1993 at WEFT 90.1fm in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Folk Roots Radio (formerly Royal City Rag) debuted on CFRU 93.3fm in August 2005 before developing into a syndicated radio show.
